Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Announcement The Gulf Coast VA HealthCare System Medical Center in Biloxi, MS is issuing an Open Market RFQ IAW FAR 13 for Purchase of Motorola Handheld Radios for the Engineering and Fire Departments. This procurement is conducted under NAICS 334220 Radio Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing. This is a Total Service Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) Set-Aside. In order to qualify for this set-aside, firms must be registered in the Vendor Information Pages at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/. Salient Characteristics: First responders communicate using these radios during emergencies. **Must be compatible with current Motorola inventory and radio system** Minimum specifications include: Hand held portable radio (Model XPR7550FKP) VHF 136-174Mhz 1000 Channels Enabled Helical Antenna Standard Battery Standard Model Box Standard Charger Belt Clip 2 year warranty This is a Brand Name Procurement See attached Justification and Approval.
