- This Sources Sought notice is for market research and acquisition planning purposes only. No formal solicitation for this work exists at this time. All interested and qualified concerns are encouraged to submit capability statements for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine the technical, administrative and management capability of such offerors to perform the requirement. The capability statements will be used to assist in determining appropriate procurement strategy, in particular whether a set-aside is warranted or an alternate procurement strategy is warranted. The Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to determine the availability, interest and capability of any (1) INDIAN SMALL BUSINESS ECONOMIC ENTERPRISES (ISBEE - in compliance with the Buy Indian Act) or (2) SMALL BUSINESS firms eligible to compete under NAICS code 311511 with a Small Business Size Standard 1,000 employees for a requirement to provide milk product, weekly, delivery, during the academic school year for John F. Kennedy Day School, 110 E. Dishchin Road (Cedar Creek), Whiteriver, AZ 85941. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. ALL COST ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION AS REQUESTED BY THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR. Submission of information is voluntary. Requirement/Project Description: 1. Performance Period: Milk products to be delivered weekly to school location during the academic school year (when school is in session), based on order(s) that are placed with the vendor the prior week. For the 2017-2018 Academic School Year, weekly delivery will be made beginning 07/24/2017 thru 06/30/2018 as scheduled by the designated school's Person of Contact (POC). 2. Weekly Estimate Quantity: a. Milk, Half Pint, Skim / 70- half pint carton per case / 42 weeks delivery @ 14 cases per week; b. Milk, Half Pint, 1% / 70- half pint carton per case / 42 weeks delivery @ 14 cases per week; c. Milk, Half Pint, Chocolate / 70- half pint carton per case / 42 weeks delivery @ 3 cases per week. A scope of work will be provided with any solicitation that may be issued. Responses to this announcement are requested from (1) Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) in compliance with the Buy Indian Act; (2) Small Business Economic Enterprises (Non Native American Indian/Non Native Alaskan). Economic Enterprises responding to this announcement are to indicate the firm's socioeconomic status (e.g. ISBEE or Small Business). If sufficient interest and capability is not received from firms in categories (1) through (2) above, any solicitation may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration. Interested small business firms shall submit (1) COMPANY NAME, ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER OF THE FIRM, DUNS NUMBER, AND CONTACT PERSON'S NAME & TITLE; (2) a CAPABILITY STATEMENT including (a) RECENT (within the last three fiscal years) RELEVANT (similar projects to this requirement) performance history (identify the name of the owner and their point(s) of contact with telephone and fax numbers, email addresses; (b) in what capacity (e.g., prime, subcontractor etc.) they performed the work; and (3) their SIZE STATUS. The firm/company must provide their DUNs number and have 'active' on-line registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). All responses to this Sources Sought notice must be submitted not later than June 21, 2017, Wednesday, 3:30 PM MST via e-mail to: Paul.Robinson@bia.gov. This is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this Sources Sought market survey. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website and no paper copies will be provided.
