- The Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region has a requirement for one (1) Shunt Reactor for Badwater Substation. FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, is being utilized for this requirement. The solicitation is issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Request for Quotes will be issued electronically on or about June 14, 2017. All responses to this RFQ should be submitted electronically to eray@wapa.gov. Prospective contractors must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov.
