- RFQ document This is a competitive combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with the procedures of FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items. The solicitation number is 2017-Q-66974 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE The intended procurement is classified under NAICS code 423490 with a size standards in number of employees: 500. SET-ASIDE STATUS This procurement will be full and open competition. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the award of a contract. You may register by going to www.sam.gov ACQUISITION AUTHORITY This acquisition is for a commercial item or service and is conducted under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12-Acquistion of Commercial Items, and is expected NOT to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. The solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, dated January 19, 2017. The resultant contract will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through this date. DESCRIPTION The Centers for Disease Control and prevention (CDC), National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH), Office of Noncommunicable Diseases, Injury, and Environmental Health (ONDIEH) has a need of glassware supplies for the Emergency Response Branch (ERB)'s synthetic laboratory. These glassware products are critical for standardization of the ERB's synthetical chemical process. Additional information regarding this RFQ may be obtained from the attached documents to this combined synopsis/solicitation. ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE. 90 days after the award effective date. QUOTES MAY BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY. CLOSING INFORMATION All responses should be received by June 29, 2017, at 10AM, Eastern Standard Time (EST).
