- This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This IS NOT a REQUEST for PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, or BIDS. Responses to this request will not be returned. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future and potential solicitation. It is the intent of the Contracting Office to use this information for market research purposes only. The survey is being conducted to determine the interest of industry within NAICS codes #333911 and #331511, and establish that there are adequate Large and/or Small Business (HUBZONE 8(a) or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business) contractors for providing dredge slurry pump impellers. The Government WILL NOT pay for the provision of any information, nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of any such information. If a formal solicitation is released, it will be via the Federal Business Opportunities (http:www.fbo.gov). The Government intends to procure dredge slurry pump impellers for a VOSTA VL 900-2300 dredge slurry pump. The impeller part number is 1850N-01-0H29G with GIW diverter technology. The slurry pump impellers will be installed for the Dredge JADWIN. The JADWIN currently operates in the Mississippi River Navigation System. The dredge slurry pump impellers shall be delivered to the following location: JADWIN - Supply and Maintenance Branch, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Vicksburg District at 2449 Haining Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180. Actual quantities and any additional information will be defined with issuance of the solicitation. Please note that this is a sources sought posting only. This is not an issuance of a solicitation. All interested business concerns for this requirement may submit the following: • Company Name • CAGE Number • Type of business concern (small business, large business, etc.) • Years in business • Statement of capability and qualifications of the organization to perform the requirement • List of similar projects worked on over the past 5 years and services provided on those projects • NAICS code your company identifies under • Any risks you may see for this acquisition The North American Classification System (NAICS) codes for this acquisition are #333911 and 331511. **EACH SUBMISSION SHOULD NOT EXCEED 5 PAGES TOTAL** Notice to potential contractors: All offerors who provide goods or services to the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) located on the website https://www.sam.gov. Additionally, all Services Disabled/Veterans Owned Business or Veterans Owned Small Business must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center of Veterans Enterprise Vet Biz Registry located at http://www.dol.gov/vets/vets-100.html.
