- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY AND YOUR RESPONSE IS NOT AN OFFER. THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) / SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO ANY INCURRED COSTS IN PREPARATION OF ANY SUBMISSION TO THIS NOTICE, OR TO CONTRACT FOR SERVICES. PURPOSE: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain industry capabilities, to determine interest in participation, and to determine the availability of potential small businesses that can provide services for the Unites States Marshals Service (USMS). The information from this market research will help the USMS with their acquisition strategy and draft statement of work. Firms are strongly encouraged to provide comments, questions, and suggestions relative to the project scope, methodologies and technologies, and approach. Any input that businesses or interested parties would like to provide will be reviewed and considered. SCOPE/DESCRIPTION OF WORK: FICAM and HSPD12 SERVICES In response to the RFI, vendors shall submit capability statements that at a minimum address the points below: 1) HSPD-12/FICAM Compliant Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) Design, Evaluation, Support And Testing A) The Offeror's understanding of the gaps and issues commonly found in FederalGovernment's legacy Physical Access Control Systems (PACS). A discussion of technology that can meet the Federal Government's current requirements with many buildings can provide their best approach for a migration to compliance with PACS; B) The Offeror's method for ensuring innovative, integrated and complete service deliveryof PACS- related tasks as prescribed therein; C) The top three risks associated with PACS design, evaluation and testing and theOfferor's risk mitigation strategy. 2)Personal Identity Verification (PIV)/Personal Identity Verification-Interoperable (PIV-1) Card And Certificate Experience A) The Offeror understands of the Federal Government's Personal Identity Verification(PIV) and Personal Identity Verification-Interoperability (PIV-I) card. B) The Offeror's understanding of how USMS PACS will correctly interoperate with and validate these credentials. The top three risks associated with PIV and PIV-I card use within PACS. Offerors are encouraged to provide any additional information related to PACS HSPD-12/FICAM installation, removal, upgrade, etc. Capability statements shall be no more than seven (7) pages, 12pt font, Times New Roman, double spaced. Provide a listing of all Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts and Federal Supply Schedule contracts your firm previously held and/or currently holds. Please include the contract number and expiration date for each. Please submit all questions and responses to PACS-OSC@usdoj.gov. Submit questions by Monday, June 19, 2017 at NOON EST. Capability statements are due by Monday, June 26, 2017 6:00 PM EST. Please reference DJM-17-A32-RFI-PACS-0001 in the subject line.
