- Statement of Work The United States Forest Service is seeking a sculptor to work with the Boys Scouts of America during their quadrennial Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in West Virginia. A suitable stone will be provided by the USFS. The sculptor will demonstrate artistic technique to Boy Scouts on a daily basis. The Boy Scouts will then, under the tuteledge of the sculptor, complete the artists vision. The completed work will be retained by the Forest Service and put on display. The period of performance will be July 17th through July 29th, 2017. The artist will present along with their bid, a design for the artwork, which must be pre-approved by the Forest Service. Per diem and Travel costs should be built into the quote, not to exceed rates established by GSA for the area of travel. The sculptor must be enrolled in SAM.Gov and have an active DUNS number registered to accept government contracts.
