- This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ), solicitation number P17PS01638, Install and Finish Drywall Headquarters Apartments - Olympic National Park (OLYM) in accordance with FAR Part 13 -- Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) IAW FAR 52.204-7. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238310, Drywall Installation. For the purpose of this procurement the small business size standard is $15.00 Million. All quotes/offers shall be valid for a period of 60 days from the closing date of this announcement. The magnitude of construction cost for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The Government intends to award one Firm-Fixed Price Contract from this solicitation. Work to be performed: Olympic National Park requires supply, installation, finish and texture of gypsum wallboard at Building 17 Headquarters Apartments (6 apartment units and laundry room) including all walls, ceilings, and two attic access doors. All existing fixtures, furnishings, and drywall throughout the residence will be removed. A floor plan (Attachment 1) and as-constructed drawings (Attachment 2) are included for reference. Note: The approximate quantities are 6,400 square feet of walls and 2,500 square feet of ceiling. Additionally, construct a two-hour rated fire wall between every two apartments, in accordance with IBC 706.3.9, so that the units will be considered three duplexes for NFPA classification purposes. Firewalls shall be constructed between Units 2 and 3; Unit 4 and the Laundry/Storage Rooms; and the Laundry/Storage Rooms and Unit 5. Firewall construction shall include sealants needed to obtain rating. One additional 24"x24" ceiling access shall be installed in the storage room. Units will have already had existing sheetrock removed and facility will be down to bare studs. Performance period: November 27 - December 13, 2017. The project needs to be completed by December 31, 2017 so it is essential that drywall work be completed in this time period. The period of performance is non-negotiable. A site visit will NOT be held for this requirement. Quotes/offers must be received no later than 5:00 PM Pacific Time, Thursday July 13, 2017. ONLY ELECTRONIC COPIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
