- FBO POST - PRE-SOLICITATION HSCGG1-17-Q-PFA024 ISSUED DATE: 12 June 2017 The scope includes all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to remove, dispose of and provide a new Medium Voltage (MV) Loop Tie Switch in Satterlee Hall at the US Coast Guard Academy. The work includes: -Removal and disposal of existing Canadian Power Medium Voltage (MV) Switch, Model #SRG6-33-15. -Removal and disposal of wall mounted cabinet for MV switch. -Re-route existing 4" conduits to redirect MV and transformer feeders for a neat and secure installation. Provide 4" split grounding bushings for 4" conduits. -Provide a concrete housekeeping pad (53"x36"4") for mounting new MV switch. -Provide a new three phase vacuum interrupter loop tie switch - G&W model # VRPFI-376-12-6F. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 27 June 2017. Tentative date for receipt of quotes is 28 July 2017. Period of Performance: Award is anticipated to be made in early August 2017. The overall period of performance is twelve (12) weeks after Notice to Proceed The applicable North American Industry Classification systems (NAICS) code is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a small business size standard of 15 million. The estimated value of the procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. Payment bond will be required for award over $35,000. The acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 13. Pursuant to FAR Part 19.5 set aside for Small Business, this solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. Our office no longer issues solicitation or amendments in paper form.
