- Amendment A003 to extend the proposal due date ****UPDATE**** This solicitation proposal due date has been extended to June 27, 2017 ****UPDATE**** The solicitation is expected to be posted May 2, 2017 and it will be available for 30 days - reference SAQMMA-17-R-0029. ****UPDATE**** The solicitation is expected to be posted April 20, 2017 and it will be available for 30 days - reference SAQMMA-17-R-0029. ****UPDATE**** This is a Pre-solicitation Notice of the US Government's intent to issue a solicitation for the construction of one pier in Candelilla de la Mar, Nariño, Colombia. The order of magnitude for this requirement is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The estimated period of performance is 300 calendar days. This acquisition will be issued under full and open procedures. The project will require the construction of one pier, length 248 m. with its foundation in metallic piles filled and cast-in-place reinforced concrete, concretes beams and concrete deck. This construction will include excavations, filling material, reinforced concrete structures, metallic structures and accessories, as well as a grounding protection system. Potential offerors shall take into account all logistical requirements for the transportation of materials to be needed for the project when moving/transferring/transporting elements/items at the project site. Also, potential offerors need to be aware that this construction location is subject to an environmental plan which includes targeted environmental-sensitive areas. The contractor shall be responsible for the coordination of transportation and accommodations for meals/lodging as needed for the construction team at the construction location or the contractor shall make other arrangements as required with the National Natural Park (PNN) personnel. This coordination will be based on PNN's personnel availability during the execution of this project or as negotiated based on the potential contractor's business strategy to be proposed for this contract. The solicitation is expected to be posted March 30, 2017 and it will be available for 30 days - reference SAQMMA-17-R-0029. Proposal response time and submittal will be specified at the time the solicitation is posted. A pre-proposal conference and/or site visit(s) will be scheduled and included in the solicitation. Award of a Firm-fixed price construction type contract is anticipated within 60 days of proposal receipt. Additional Information concerning the location: The pier is located at the COLNAV Base in Candelilla de la Mar which is near Tumaco. It is located in the southwest part of the Colombian territory alongside the pacific coast. It is located 300 km from San Juan de Pasto which is the capital of the Nariño and it can be accessed through commercial flights from Tumaco or by helicopter and/or by ground transportation.
