- DOI Treatment Guidelines Wage Determination Vicinity Map Solicitation The Clear Springs Recreation Area was constructed in 1935‐37 with assistance from the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). The National Forests in Mississippi is soliciting contractors to complete repairs to the pavilion and gazebo at the recreation area. For this requirement, the contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, transportation, permits, licenses, supervision, expertise, and other incidentals necessary to successfully complete the following: repair and/or replace the roof, rafters, decking, benches, and bases; and paint all existing unpainted logs as well as any newly installed boards or logs. Work shall be completed with in-kind materials and in a manner that is compliant with The Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Treatment of Historic Properties with Guidelines for Preserving, Rehabilitating, Restoring, and Reconstructing Historic Buildings. This is a request for quotes which will result in a firm-fixed price construction contract. The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project is set-aside 100% for small businesses. Award will be made based on the best value to the Government and can be made on initial offers. The solicitation and related documents will be available for download at https://www.fbo.gov/ on or about June 14, 2017. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Interested vendors should register to receive notifications through this site by clicking on, "Add Me to Interested Vendors." An organized site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, June 21, 2017, 10:00. The day of the site visit, the group will meet at Clear Springs Recreation Area Pavilion. Offerors planning to attend are required to RSVP via email to gpelch02@fs.fed.us, by 3:00 p.m., Monday, June 19, 2017. If we do not receive any RSVPs, the site visit will be cancelled and the cancellation will be posted to Fed Biz Opps. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the solicitation's closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs incurred.
