- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Drum, NY anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the construction of the Visitor Control Center at the LTG Paul G. Cerjan Gate located at Fort Drum, NY. The Government intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price contract for the construction of the Visitor Control Center at the LTG Paul G. Cerjan Gate located at Fort Drum, NY. This requirement is 100% set aside for Small Business Administration Certified firms whose principle place of business is within a 260 mile radius of Fort Drum, NY. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, plant, labor, material and equipment necessary to perform all work in connection with t h e c on s t r u c t i o n o f n e w visitor center and includes an addition to the existing building 11008 i n a c c ord a n ce w i t h t h e s p eci f icati o n s a n d dr a w i n g s, a n d is su b j ect to t h e te r m s a n d c o n d iti on s o f t h e C o n t r act. Contract duration is estimated to be 365 days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference IFB number W911S2-17-B-015J in the subject line. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The size standard is $36.5 million. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The anticipated posting date of the IFB is no sooner than 15 days after the publication of this notice. Site Visit Information: The IFB will include site-visit information, to include date, time, and location. Upon release to the public, the IFB as well as the amendments will be available at Federal Business Opportunities website: https://www.fbo.gov. The IFB will specify the actual date and time for bid receipt. Funds are not presently available for this acquisition. No contract award will be made until appropriate funds are available.
