- JOFOC The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to enter into a non-competitive interim/bridge contract with the incumbent contractor, Integrated Protection Services (IPS), 5303 Lester Rd. Cincinnati, OH, 45213, pending the award of a five (5) year competitively-solicited contract in response to IRS Solicitation # TIRSE-15-R-00002. The interim/bridge contract is for Facility Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of HVAC systems, building structures, and other systems required for the continuous operation of the Cincinnati Service and Child Care Center, located at 201 W Rivercenter Blvd, Covington, KY, 41011. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate the interim/bridge contract on a sole source basis under FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The interim/bridge contract is for the period of 07/01/2017 through 09/30/2017, plus an option to extend the term of the contract. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. No solicitation document is available. A determination by the IRS will not open this requirement to competition based upon any written responses to this notice. For information regarding this notice, contact Camille D.
