- This is a pre-solicitation notice only and does not constitute a solicitation; accordingly, no response is due at this time. Specific instructions on submitting proposals will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or after the date listed below. The Mission Installation Contracting Command Fort Belvoir intends to issue a solicitation to award a single, firm fixed price service contract on behalf of the PL ALTESS RADFORD, VA. Fort Belvoir has a requirement for the maintenance of (2) switchgears(one Caterpillar Switchgear and one GE Switchgear). This requirement will be set-aside for small business vendors to foster competition and encourage support in determining fair and reasonable pricing. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price to include a base and four (4) option years. The anticipated solicitation will be posted to Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov) on or about 13 June 2017 with proposals due approximately 30 days following the issuance of the solicitation, once posted. These dates are subject to change. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted on this website. Solicitation mailing list will not be compiled and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238210 with a size standard of $15 million. All Bidders must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) http://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer. Potential Bidders are responsible for monitoring FedBizOpps for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. Faxed offers and amendments will not be accepted.
