- SF 1449 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W81K00-17-T-0278 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-68 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Publication Notice (DPN) 20130710. This solicitation is for a Heart Valves Implants for William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, Texas. The period of performance is 1 October 2017 – 30 September 2017 plus two option years. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339112, with a size standard of 1000 employees. This procurement is being conducted as a Small Business Set Aside. All eligible businesses may submit an offer, which will be considered. Quotes are due by 19 June 2017, at 10:00 AM, Central Standard Time. The point of contact is Emerita Torres at emerita.torres.civ@mail.mil. Offers shall be submitted via e-mail. Questions shall be submitted via e-mail not later than 16 June 2017. No questions will be entertained after this date. This is a "brand name or equal" solicitation.
