- Page 1 of 2 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 2, intends to award a sole source award contract to GE HEALTHCARE, a division of General Electric Company, 3000 N Grandview BLVD W-443 Waukesha WI 53188. Service and Maintenance on GE Equipment, for Northport VA Medical Center. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 intends to award a sole source task order for the procurement of a full service and planned maintenance contract to perform on-site preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure that the GE Healthcare equipment is in operation and meets NFPA-99, OSHA, and CDRH specifications. The equipment is located at the Northport VA Medical Center in the Biomedical Engineering Department. This service agreement will provide parts, labor, testing, software upgrades and calibration to maintain the systems. This action shall accomplish award under an existing Veterans Administration (VA) National Acquisition Center (NAC) contract VA797H-17-D-0024/ SPE2D1-17-D-0015 Delegation of Authority V265 for a base plus four option years from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2022. Furnish all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, repair service, software updates, parts, etc. for complete On-Site Maintenance Service for the below General Electric (GE) Equipment: Equipment/System ID GE Echopac WS System ID: EPPC2493 GE Echopac WS System ID: EPPC2552 GE CT Lightspeed RT 16 (16 Slice) System ID: 631261CTRT GE Workstation Advantage Workstation 4.4 System ID: 631261AW GE XR Precision 500D (XRF119) GE VIVID q System ID: VQ50839 GE Vivid E9 XD Clear 4D System ID: VE9007370 GE TEE Probe System ID: VQ50839TEE Period of Performance: Base Year: July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018 Option year one: July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019 Option Year two: July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 Option Year three: July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 Option Year four: July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 NAICS: 811219 Size Standards: $20.5 Millions THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
