- This is not a request for proposals. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. This is strictly a synopsis to inform industry about an upcoming requirement. The Government will not accept any proposals based on this notice. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for School Drayage Services for the DoDEA Americas Southeast District, Fort Stewart Georgia Schools, Fort Stewart, Georgia. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, scheduling, quality control, to meet all packing, unpacking and movement requirements for drayage (moving services) support for the DoDEA Fort Stewart Georgia Schools at the designated school sites. Projected period of performance is from 14 June 2017 through 28 July 2017. This acquisition will be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside using the procedures in FAR Part 12 - Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
