- W912PM17R0019 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to construct a seepage berm with a toe drain system along the downstream toe of the Island Creek Dam embankment. The work will consist of transporting, placing, compacting and grading select fill material, sand filter, and gravel filter. The toe drain system includes perforated pipe, manholes, and outfall pipe and will be for the Island Creek Dam located in Mecklenburg County, VA. The work will consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, transportation, and materials necessary to perform all work in strict accordance with the specifications, schedules, drawings, and other contract documents. The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about June 15, 2017. This solicitation is a 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990- Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and the size standard is $36,500,000.00. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to receive an award from any Government solicitation.
