- CONTRACT INFORMATION: This announcement is a "Full and Open" acquisition for various repairs to airfield runways, taxiways, airfield lighting and signage at Muwaffaq-Salti Air Base (MSAB) located at Azraq, Jordan. The North American Industrial Classification System code is 237310, which has a size standard of $36.5 million. A firm-fixed-price contract will be negotiated. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Register via the SAM Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/. PROJECT INFORMATION: Construction range is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000This contract is a Design Bid Build/ site adaptation effort for repair of runway 13-31 and supporting features at MSAB located in Jordan. The scope includes asphalt repairs to the primary runway, concrete joint repair and replacement in both concrete touchdowns, replacement of the existing aircraft arrestor vaults, replacement of associated airfield lighting fixtures, and asphalt repairs to shoulders and connecting taxiways. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and transportation necessary to perform the repair at Muwaffaq-Salti Air Base, as specified in the specifications that will be attached to the future Request for Proposal (RFP). The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is committed to excellence in the construction activity for this requirement. The construction of this project shall achieve the highest quality of operations and aesthetics in meeting the requirements of the design while at the same time being cost effective. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between: $10,000,000 and $25,000,000.
