Description

SLAC/LCLS is seeking for a supplier of four (4) silicon mirrors to be used in one of the beamline of the LCLS with the following specifications: The mirror substrates shall be single-crystal silicon, with <100> direction oriented along Length (1000 mm). The mirrors will have physical dimensions of: 1000 mm x 50 mm x 70 mm (LxWxH) with optically polished area of 950X25 mm2. All the manufacturing processes used to produce the mirror shall be UHV compatible. The non-Optical surface finish shall be fine ground and wet-chemical etched. The MAIN SPECIFICTIONS for the mirrors are: Surface profile: Flat Residual Tangential Radius of curvature: > 200 Km and Concave Residual tangential slope errors: < 0.5 microrad rms Residual tangential shape errors on the central 300 mm: < 0.5 nm rms Residual tangential shape errors on the central 900 mm: < 1 nm rms The microroughness of the optical surface shall be below 0.3 nm rms measured in the 20 nm - 1 mm spatial wavelengths. The Vendor shall be able to provide optical metrology prove of the achievement of the required specification prior the delivery of the optics. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE.
