- JUSTIFICATION REVIEW DOCUMENT Title: Scientific, Engineering, Technical Assistance (SETA) Support for the entire Space and Terrestrial Communications Directorate (S&TCD) J&A Statutory Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(b)(3) as implemented by FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C) - The order must be issued on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the contract, provided that all awardees were given a fair opportunity to be considered for the original order. Task Order Extension Date: 20 April 2017 Description(s): Notice of Order Placed to FAR Part 16 Exception to Fair Opportunity Justification The U.S Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) on behalf of the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Research Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC), Space and Terrestrial Communications Directorate (S&TCD) Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Systems Division, hereby provides notice of an order placed pursuant to an Exception to Fair Opportunity to Aaski Technology Inc. 1 Radar Way Tinton Falls, NJ 07724-1290. This announcement is NOT a request for competitive quotes and a written solicitation will not be issued. This effort was previously synopsized as W15P7T-08-R-E001.Proposals cannot be submitted directly to this notice. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541712. The resultant contract modification will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-91. This notice is effective Thursday April 20, 2017 and will end on Monday May 22, 2017 at 4:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. The Government has placed an order to contract W15P7T-10-D-D421 0009 as modification 56 which extends the period of performance for this contract by six (6) months. Please see attached Justification and Approval for more information. This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotes. This notice is published pursuant to FAR 16.505(b)(2)(ii)(D).
