Description

This requirement is for the removal of the existing stone ballast EPDM roof and replace it with 90 mil thick black EPDM roof. The contractor shall also provide all new flashing as well as new roof drain inlet structures. Minor work will include repairing damaged flashing and blocking to properly seal the roofing membrane around the parapet walls. Additionally, the existing integral lightning protection system will be removed as necessary to install the roofing system to be replaced by a certified lightning protection installer. The work will be performed on the roof of Building 1470 Sections A and D at the Naval Support Facility, Dahlgren, VA. This solicitation is being set aside 100% for small business concerns in the Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia regions
