- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 4, on behalf of the Erie, PA VA Medical Center, anticipates the award of a Fixed Price service contract for courier services. These services are being acquired in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Please see the attached solicitation VA244-17-Q-0718 for additional information regarding this requirement. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) participation only. It is mandatory that SDVOSB offerors be certified on the website https://www. Vip.VetBiz.gov. Responses received from non-certified offerors will not be considered for award. The government anticipates awarding an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for five (5) years. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. A comparative evaluation in accordance with FAR 13.106-2 (b) (3) will be conducted. Please see the attached solicitation for a Statement of Work (SOW), terms and conditions. Offers shall be submitted in accordance with the solicitation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 492110 - Couriers and Express Delivery Services, which has a size standard of 1,500 employees. Information and solicitation documents for this solicitation will be posted on the WEB site FedBizOpps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for posting of the solicitation package, addenda to the solicitation and any other pertinent information.
