Description

The Sioux Falls, SD Veterans Administration intends to award an emergency service procurement described below via sole source IAW FAR 6.302-2 Unusual and compelling urgency. This notice is not seeking proposals or quotes. The purpose of this requirement is to provide emergency switch gear repair service for the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Sioux Falls VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS) located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Vendor shall provide at a minimum the following requirements as a turnkey operation. Labor, Material, Equipment, Parts, and Supplies to repair switch gear assembly. Provide a Temporary Generator large enough to operate 24 hours a day seven days a week to handle load requirements for areas affected. Estimated requirement is 800KW Generator. Provide fuel and refueling service to maintain operation of generator supplied. Fuel level must be maintained above 30% of Fuel Capacity at all times. Contractor shall provide all labor, material, parts, and supplies to install and hookup the generator to load center for the affected areas. Contractor shall provide all labor, material, parts, and supplies to uninstall the generator from the load center when the repair has been completed, inspected, and tested for operational capability. This notice is not a request for quotes. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
