- Revised Seed Mix Specification per SOW (Amendment 0003 changes) Conform copy of solicitation W912ES-17-T-0068 -- Includes all changes made in amendments 0001, 0002 and 0003. Please use this copy of the solicitation to submit your quote. Amendment 3 to solicitation W912ES-17-T-0068 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a contractor to plant and establish native grasses at a 15.2 acre site on Grey Cloud Island, in the southeast Twin Cities metro area. This contract includes the following major items: 1. Move and spread about 30,000 cubic yards of loamy sand (topsoil) stockpiled at the site. 2. Furnish native grass seed mix 3. Plant native grass seed 4. Furnish, place and anchor mulch into topsoiled and seeded area 5. Maintain native grasses during turf establishment period (mowing and repair) The planting will take place on private property at an active aggregate mine. Please do not visit the site independently. Site Visit A scheduled site visit will take place on Wednesday, April 19 at 10:00 AM. Please contact John Riederer (information listed below) if you are interested in attending. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers), the contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management (SAM). All Offerors must be registered in SAM, have an active account, and have completed the Representations & Certification sections (FAR and DFARS) prior to receiving an award. Initial registration could take up to 4 weeks. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished, at www.sam.gov. Amendments Amendment 0003 is posted as Amendment 0004 with a conform copy (updated copy of the solicitation with all changes included). Please use the conform copy of the solicitation posted under Amendment 0004 to make your quote. Amendment 0003 contains multiple changes to the SOW, including a change in the seed mix specified.
