- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to Honeywell Aerospace on an other than full and open basis pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements." Orders under the BOA will procure the following supplies and services for Honeywell components on the P-8A aircraft: non-recurring engineering, reliability/sustainability improvements, test, repair and modification, logistics support, training, obsolescence management, spare and repair parts, support equipment, component improvements, and procurement of Honeywell components on the P-8A aircraft to include Auxiliary Power Units (APUs), electrical power generators and converters, electrical power distribution and power management systems, shaft-driven compressors, fan motors, environmental control and air management systems, pneumatic systems, heat exchangers, fuel controls, infrared suppressors, generators, weather radar, traffic collision avoidance systems, inertial navigation systems, antennas, radar altimeters, cockpit displays and panels, remote frequency indicators, and specialized avionics. The Government possesses only limited technical data rights to these components. The 20 January 2017 Sources Sought Notice provided the opportunity for interested persons by 4 February 2017 to submit a Capability Statement identifying their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The Government has completed its review of all written information submitted in response to the Sources Sought Notice. The Government will not consider any information submitted by interested parties in response to this Presolicitation Notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
