- This is a Sources Sought and Industry Day announcement for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Mid-Level Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) supporting the FBI at various locations in the continental United States (CONUS) and in Untied States Territories. This synopsis is issued for the sole purpose of conducting market research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. Findings from this sources sought and participation in the industry day will assist the FBI in formulating an acquisition strategy for this requirement. This sources sought is not a Request for Proposal and participation or response to the sources sought and industry day are not a guarantee of promised work. No solicitation documents are available at this time. The FBI is seeking sources with current relevant experience, personnel, and capability to perform construction activities throughout the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories. Types of construction include renovations, Design Build, Design Bid Build and Construction Manager at Risk. It is projected that future projects on this MACC will range from $100K - $35M. The FBI is contemplating a regional MACC approach split between a northern and southern pool of contractors. The northern pool of contractors will be focused on the National Capital Region (NCR) and the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division in Clarksburg, WV. The southern pool of contractors will focused on construction growth in Huntsville, AL. The FBI is considering a small business set aside program within this MACC. The proposed contract will be for one base year with 4 one-year renewable options, resulting in the contract performance period of maximum 5 years. The estimated total contract price for this effort has yet to be determined. Interested sources are invited to respond to this sources sought announcement by completing the following questions: 1. Company Name and Address 2. Cage Code 3. DUNS Number 4. Top Secret Facility Clearance (Y/N) 5. Socio-Economic Status (reflect all) 6. Registered in SAM.gov: (Y/N) 7. Geographic limitations, if any. 8. Sample Projects Completed. Give a brief description of the project. Information shall include the period of performance, cost, magnitude of construction (building size, etc), role (prime/sub), location, construction type (DB, DBB, CMAR, etc). The FBI requests that interested contractors provide submissions for this Sources Sought electronically in Microsoft Word. Responses shall not exceed four (4) pages. Electronic submittals must be emailed to Mrs. Kimberly Himes, kimberly.himes@ic.fbi.gov and Mr. Mark Dillinger, mark.dillinger@ic.fbi.gov, by 3:00 pm, Eastern Time, May 15, 2017. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Industry Day The FBI will be hosting an Industry Day in Huntsville, Al to present a programmatic overview of this requirement to interested contractors. Industry Day will be held on May 17, 2017 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am (Central Time) in the ManTech Auditorium. The address for the auditorium is as follows: 655 Discovery Drive Huntsville, AL 35806 If you are interested in attending Industry Day, please provide the name and affiliation of each attendee to Mark Dillinger (email address noted previously) by 3:00 pm Central time, May 15, 2017. There are no special security requirements since this is not a federally secured facility. The Government will not reimburse any cost associated with attending Industry Day. At this time, the FBI does not guarantee that any future contracts may be awarded covering the aforementioned duties and responses to this Sources Sought. Responses to this Sources Sought do not bind the FBI to any agreement with any interested contractor, be it explicit or implied. Contractors are advised that the FBI will not pay for information submitted in response to this Sources Sought, nor will it compensate contractors for any costs incurred in the development or furnishing of a response. The FBI will not entertain telephone calls or questions regarding this Sources Sought and will only evaluate written responses to the information requested.
