- 5th Annual U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Business Conference Agenda - May 10, 2017 The 5 th Annual US Department of Veterans Affairs Business Conference will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Traffic and Parking Control Company, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Attendees will be able to meet with and learn from a broad range of contracting experts, develop their networks and identify critical resources that can be accessed to assist with a broad range of business needs. This conference features the Department of Veterans Affairs and will focus on procurement procedures and business opportunities with the Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 12 area consisting of Milwaukee, WI; Madison, WI; Tomah, WI; Chicago, IL; Danville, IL; and Iron Mountain, MI. In addition to learning about how to work with the VA, attendees will have opportunities to meet with and learn from a broad range a Federal, State, Local Government Agencies, and Prime Contractor representatives. Currently, representatives from VA VISN 12, VA NAC, US EPA, US Coast Guard, US Forest Service, US SBA, Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, Woodward, and Walsh Construction are scheduled to attend. Special guests scheduled to speak at this year’s conference include - Daniel Zimmerman, Secretary, Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs Eric Ness, Acting Region V Administrator, US Small Business Administration Micole Stephens, VA Federal Supply Schedule Service, VA National Acquisition Center Emily Constantine, Associate, Husch Blackwell Suzanne Ferris, Senior Associate, HGA Architects and Engineers Date: May 10, 2017 Time: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Location: Traffic and Parking Control Company 5100 W.
