Description

The Veterans Administration Iowa City, IA VA Medical Center Research and Development Group intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with L1 Enterprises, a Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to provide Spectralis Tracking OCT System HRA + OCT with OCT2-Multicolor equipment, in accordance with VAAR 819.7007. This equipment will be utilized in the course of ongoing research projects at the Iowa VA. The Iowa VA already is utilizing this same equipment in current studies, but requires an additional unit. In order to maintain research integrity, the same equipment must be utilized. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Wednesday, March 29, 2017, 11:00, EST. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Elaine DiBucci at elaine.dibucci@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
