- Redacted J&A The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Level of Effort (LOE) Modification under contract N00019-17-C-0033 P00003 to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC), San Diego, CA, for Integrated Logistics requirements in support of the operation, maintenance and sustainment the MQ-8 Fire Scout system. This acquisition was conducted on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 14-24020, 25 August 2015.
