- Email address update Aviation Logistics Center Industry Day 2017 HSCG38-17-INDUSTRYDAY Description: Industry Day 2017 - Doing Business with the U. S. Coast Guard, Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) Date: May 3, 2017 Registration Time: 8:00 am - 9:15 am Event Start Time: 9:30 am Event End Time: 3:00 pm Location: K. E. White Graduate Center, Elizabeth City State University (off campus site) Address: 1704 Weeksville Road Elizabeth City, NC 27909 About the Event: The ALC will be hosting its third annual "Doing Business with the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center". This one-day event will provide a forum by which the ALC will communicate an overview of operations and provide information on some of its upcoming requirements in order to increase competition by sharing useful information. In addition, there will be time allotted to network and meet with some of the Contracting Officers, Small Business Specialist and Technical Representatives. Who Should Attend: Companies, large and small, including socioeconomic businesses that are interested in ALC contracting and subcontracting opportunities representing the aviation industry for supplies and services, technical engineering support, and business support services are all encouraged to attend. Prior federal contracting experience is not required. All attendees are encouraged to increase business contacts, identify potential teaming partners, share best practices and trends and participate in networking, meet and greet, and business card exchange. There is no cost to attend this event. Registration: Seats will be limited and reservations will be based on a first come-first served basis. Space is limited to the first 250 registrants. Registration will close at 3:00 pm EST on 13 April, 2017 or when attendance limit is reached; whichever is sooner. Please limit the number of attendees from your company to two (2) people. Each individual must pre-register to attend the event using Attachment A, Registration Form. Please complete and email the registration form and any related questions to: D05-SMB-ALC-Industry-Events@uscg.mil with ALC Industry Day in the subject line. Final decisions on the extent of competition, small business participation, estimated value, or any aspect of the procurement action will not be made until the procurement is initiated. The local Chief's Mess will be providing coffee, water and pastries in the morning and brats, chips and drinks during the lunch period for a nominal fee.
