- The National Park Services has a requirement for the project listed below. If you are interested, please submit detailed capabilities in writing to demonstrate same or similar experience. Responses/correspondence shall be submitted via email only, to Monica A. Divelbess with a courtesy copy to Stephen Newton (see point of contact information). The amount of interest, or lack thereof, will determine the type of solicitation, competition type, and/or size standard as applicable. Analysis of the quality of responses to this sources sought announcement will be considered in the market research being conducted and any determinations made for this requirement. This is not a request for proposal or invitation to bid. No proposal package, solicitation, specification or drawings are available with this announcement. Response to this announcement is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought announcement or any follow-up information requests. NAICS Code: 237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction Estimated Value: $250,000 - $500,000 Estimated Period of Performance: September 2017 through September 2019 Project Description GATE - 221170, 188370, 187949, 187943 - Pavement Repair/Rehabilitation of Vairous Roadways and Parking Areas, Gateway National Recreation Area, Miller Field The project includes pavement repair/rehabilitation work for four (4) different routes: Rt. 0132B - Sanchez Drive West Work for Sanchez Drive West shall include 1 1/2" mill and overlay, and striping Rt. 0953 A - New Dorp Parking Area A Work for New Dorp Parking Area A shall include removal and reset of wheel stops, 1 1/2" mill and overlay, and striping Rt. 0953 B - New Dorp Parking Area B Work for New Dorp Parking Area B shall include removal and reset of wheel stops, full depth pavement patching, 1 1/2" mill and overlay, striping, and installation of signs. Rt. 0953 C - New Dorp Parking Area C Work for New Dorp Parking Area C shall include 2 1/2" mill and overlay, remove and reinstall traffic counter loops, striping, and installation of signs. Work may also include drainage work, topsoil placement, and seeding. Evaluation Criteria Firms interested in the project should possess the following specialized skills and experience and address these in any response to this notice. Interested firms shall submit 3 projects completed within the past 5 years that are similar to that contained in this announcement, and shall demonstrate the following: * Experience managing and constructing projects that are similar in scope, size, and magnitude * Experience in the coordination and communication required of diverse project teams to maintain scope, schedule, and cost * Experience and knowledge required to implement and maintain a Quality Control Program * Demonstrate the ability to work in a highly visible location incorporating site safety and safety of the public Interested firms shall provide a letter from their bonding company to confirm their bonding capacity. Responses shall be 5 pages or fewer and be specific in providing the requested information as it relates to the requirement described in this announcement. Submissions shall contain the firm name, address, point(s) of contact with contact information (voice and email), DUNS number, the size and socioeconomic classification under the designated NAICS code. Firms should be registered and certified (as applicable) in the System for Award Management at www.SAM.gov. Responses are due not later than the date/time listed in this announcement.
