- This is a PRE-SOLICITATION notice for the Reed Valley Stewardship Project. Restoration objectives for the project area are summarized as follows: -Improve Forest Health by harvesting dead and dying trees and thin pre-commercial trees -Aspen Regeneration and Improvement. -Road reconstruction. -Temporary road construction and decommission -Road maintenance and improvements To accomplish these objectives, the contract includes the following components: stand thinning, timber removal and roads. The Forest Service anticipates posting the solicitation for this project on or around April 7th, 2017.
