Page 1 of Page 1 of 1 Page 1 of Scope of Work: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is required to comply with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes as part of the National Accreditation for all VA hospitals and clinics. To fulfill its obligations, VA is seeking the support of qualified certified NFPA instructors to provide online and instructor led trainings for NFPA codes for all VA facility personnel needing the training in the performance of their duties and for joint commission. This requirement includes: Online training for NFPA codes 20, 25, 99,101, 70, 70E and 72 Instructor led training for NFPA codes 13, 20, 25, 70, 70B, 72, 80, 99 and 101 The contractor shall provide instructor led COTS training courses to include course delivery, course materials (instructor manuals and student materials), and qualified certified NFPA instructors. COTS courses may include certification courses, electives, and continuous learning courses (CLCs) with applicable continuing education units (CEUs). Instructions: Interested contractors/firms responding to this Sources Sough Notice must provide a capability statement demonstrating their skills and capability to fulfill the requirement listed above. Respondents shall also indicate whether they can provide online training for NFPA codes 20, 25, 99, 101, 70, 70E and 72; instructor led training for NFPA codes 13, 20, 25, 70, 70B, 72, 80, 99 and 101; or for online and instructor led trainings for all the required NFPA codes at multiple locations nationwide. All respondents are requested to identify their GSA Schedule Number, if applicable, firm's size, and type of business based of the following NAICS: 611430 (Professional and Management Development Training). The capability statement shall be in sufficient enough detail, but not to exceed 3 pages. Responses shall be submitted via email to Jacky Jean-Jacques at jacky.jean-jacques@va.gov by 12:00 Noon Eastern Time on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.
