- This procurement is for commercial supply items, to fabricate 8 Air Coolers for The Dalles Lock and Dam Main Unit 15-22 Generator. The Dalles Lock and Dam is located in The Dalles, Oregon and is operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The procurement will utilize a WOMAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS set-aside solicitation using the lowest price technically acceptable procurement method. The request for proposals (RFP) is anticipated to be issued on or about 07 April 2017; and offers will be due on or about 08 May 2017. A firm fixed-price contract is anticipated to be awarded to the offeror that provides the best value to the Government. Anticipated award date is 01 June 2017. The 2012 North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this effort is 332410, and the FSC is 4150. This project is set-aside for WOMAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. After solicitation issuance, contractors may view and/or download the solicitation and all amendments at the FedBizOpps website found at https://www.fbo.gov/. A set of 7 detailed drawings will be provided with the RFP. Specifications and drawings will not be made available in paper format or on compact disk. It is the Offerors responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps website for amendments to the solicitation. You must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) Database to receive a Government contract award. You may register at for SAM at: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
