- The purpose of this amendment is to address solicitation questions submitted along with responses. 1. Could the maximum length (55") and bench-top requirements be removed or modified? We have an exceptional analyzer that is 57" long and has an integral floor stand. A: There is limited space in the labs. 2. Could Sales Consultants be granted access to the pertinent sites in order to access the physical environment and provide information about our solutions? A: These clinics are open from are open from 0630-1500 Monday through Friday. Staff will not be available after 1500 Monday-through Friday or weekends/holidays. Clincs are closed promptly at 1500. 3. Our systems do require off-board water systems. Could this requirement be waived in consideration of water system costs being included at no additional charge to the Government? A; This requirement is for small limited clinic laboratories. As a result they are usually staffed with the manpower of 1-2 persons. In the past we had systems that required off board water sources and the plumbing was contaminated repeatedly, the walls had to be opened and pipes restored or replaced due to leaks and wet drywall. But if it is standalone there is an issue with additional floor space being required. There is a dedicated space for this requirement. 4. There are 3 separate locations for the Automated Clinical Chemistry Analyzers.
