- Gantry Milling Machine DLA Aviation Richmond intends to issue a solicitation to procure one (1) Gantry Milling Machine with contract completion required by October 30, 2019. This is a DXA2 rated item. Request for Proposal SPM4A8-17-R-0003 is Unrestricted, Full and Open Competition. A complete technical package, DLA-A-VIBB-17-25-1008, to include foundation, installation, training, IUID tag, OSHA Certification, Post processor and technical data is attached to the Solicitation. The delivery location is Naval Foundry and Propeller Center, Philadelphia, PA. The estimated release date of the Solicitation will be on or about March 23, 2017 and close on April 24, 2017. Site visit is scheduled to provide potential contractors the opportunity to the view the installation location. All visitors must complete the NFPC Visitor Data Request Form or the Foreign Visitor Data Request Form (copies attached to the solicitation) and send to Joseph Perese no less than five (5) business days before scheduled date of site visit. DO NOT PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION TO THE BUYER, THIS IS PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION AND SHOULD ONLY BE PROVIDED TO THE SECURITY OFFICE AT the Naval Foundry and Propeller Center (NFPC). Site Visit is scheduled for: Date: April 04, 2017 Time: 1500 Location: 1701 Kitty Hawk Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19112 (Turnstile near Gate #5) Please bring your PPE (safety shoes, glasses) or you may not be able to access the site. FOB will be at Destination with inspection at Origin and Acceptance at Destination. Award will be result in a Firm, Fixed Price Contract. Please mail the solicitation package along with the compliance statement and descriptive literature. Mail to address in block 9 of the first page of the solicitation. NO EMAILS PLEASE. The solicitation will be issued and evaluation performed utilizing FAR 12. This solicitation includes provision 52.215-9023 Reverse Auction. Since a Reverse Auction may be conducted, offerors are encouraged to access the ProcureX system to self-register and review the available training tools at dla.procurexinc.com to learn more about how to participate in an auction.
