- The purpose of this Sources Sought/Market Research is to identify potential sources capable of providing various sizes of lumber and plywood. Rock Island Arsenal - Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC)a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract. Lumber must be kiln dried (KD) heat treated (HT), grade 2 or better. Plywood must be A-C exterior grade. Exact specifications, delivery date information and quantities will be specified at time of solicitation. Contractor must be able to have material delivered to RIA-JMTC, Rock Island, IL 61299. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) is 423310, 500 employees. Firms that recognize and can produce the required items described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Please submit a response including Business Name, Cage Code, Business Size and a Capabilities Statement. Please respond no later than 5:00pm, Friday, March 24, 201 by email to john.e.jacobsen16.civ@mail.mil. No telephone requests will be accepted. This is a market survey for PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY and should not be construed as a Request for Quote or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a purchase order on the basis of this market survey or otherwise pay for information solicited. RIA will only utilize the information you provide in developing its acquisition approach for future requirements.
