- RFC response RFC response Additional references added to ARMDEC on 22 March 2017. THE SOLICITATION IS ATTACHED. THIS IS A SYNOPSIS NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this notice. The Military Sealift Command has a requirement for the upcoming Mid-Term Availability (MTA) for the USNS HUMPHREYS (T-AO 188). The period of performance for this requirement is on/about 03 August 2017 and continuing for a period of forty-two (42) days. The HUMPHREYS has a length of 677 FT 5 IN, and a beam of 97.5. Work is to be performed at the contractor's facility on or about the above dates. Area of consideration is East and/or Gulf Coasts. Major work items associated with this availability include Main & Emergency Switchboard Cleaning, Group Control Centers & Motor Controllers Cleaning, Lifeboat, Davit Repair and Maintenance, Main & 01 Level Deck Non-Skid Replacement and Port PTO Rotor Installation and Powertrain Alignment. After issuance, solicitation and supporting documents will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities website https://www.fbo.gov/. This requirement will be solicited as a small business set aside. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is on or about 15 March 2017. Upon issuance, the solicitation and supporting documentation will be posted on FEDBIZOPS (https://www.fbo.gov/). All requests must provide Dun & Bradstreet number and Cage Code. The appropriate NAICS Code is 336611. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from this potential source as a result of synopsis.
