Amendment, Attachments D & E AMENDMENT 01, datad 22 March 2017 THE DATE AND HOUR SPECIFIED FOR RECEIPT OF OFFERS IS NOT EXTENDED 1. Closing Date corrected to Friday, 21 April 2107, 4:00 PM PST time. 2. Attachment D - Environmental evaluation study (portions) uploaded for reference material 3. Attachment E - Site Visit Information updated through 22 March 2017 uploaded for reference material All other items are unchanged. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. MPORTANT NOTICE: There will be a one-day site visit held on 28 March 2017. See deatils in the solicitation. You MUST attend the site visit to receive additional data on the project and you MUST attend the site visit for your bid to be accepted. The Contracting Officer will NOT receive late proposals or proposals from contractors not attending the site visit. Requirement: The US Forest Service has a need for demolition and removal of fire-damaged structures at Camp 16, in the Angeles National Forest. Camp 16 burned during the 2009 Station Fire. Most buildings located on the site have completely or partially collapsed; potential hazardous material (including, but not limited to asbestos, lead paint, Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs), Mercury, used oil, CFCs, Halons and other refrigerants) containing components are scattered throughout the site and mixed with the charred debris. The work will be contracted in TWO phases: Phase 1: Removal of buildings 1306, 2720, and 1375 A. Survey of Hazardous Materials & Soil Characterization LSQ 1 EA. B. Abatement of Hazardous Materials LSQ 1 EA. C. Demolition, Removal & Disposal of Above-Ground Structures LSQ 1 EA. Phase 2 (Option): Removal of building 1305 A. Survey of Hazardous Materials & Soil Characterization LSQ 1 EA. B. Abatement of Hazardous Materials LSQ 1 EA. C. Demolition, Removal & Disposal of Above-Ground Structures LSQ 1 EA. Phase 2 may or may not be exercised. dependent on need and Government funding. Time of Performance: 180 days from Notice to Proceed
