- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Grounds Maintenance Services, Mansfield Hollow Dam, Mansfield Center, CT. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Provide all labor, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary to mow and trim approximately four (4) acres of lawn weekly; mow and trim approximately fourteen and a half (14.5) acres of grass monthly; perform spring and fall cleanup at the project; provide four (4) insecticidal lawn treatment services; perform annual brush cutting along the dike toes at Mansfield Hollow Dam. Provide all labor, equipment, materials and transportation necessary to perform US Army Corps of Engineers boundary marking at Mansfield Hollow Dam which includes: locating, marking, and clearing brush along approximately seven (7) miles of USACE property boundary line. This solicitation will be available on or about 2 February 2017. NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WILL BE AVAILALABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS RELEASED. The solicitation will be available for downloading by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov). In order to view this solicitation, prospective contractors are required to self register their firm with Federal Business Opportunities (Go to http://www.fbo.gov and "register now" under Vendor/Citizens). Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561730 with a Small Business Size Standard of $7.5M. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District.
