Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16) is performing market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NACIS code 623220, Residential Mental Health and Substance Abuse Facilities (size standard $15 Million) to provide Services for the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center (JVAMC) located at 1500 East Woodrow Wilson Avenue, Jackson, MS 39216. Services to include, but not limited to the following: The services for this requirement shall be performed at the contractor's facility located within 20 Miles of JVAMC. Housing - The contractor shall furnish all personnel, materials, and equipment to provide housing services to up to six (6) Veterans at a time all-inclusive per diem rate. Length of stay - Up to sixty (60) days, although actual length may vary depending on individual clinical and behavioral circumstances. Women - Provisions shall be made to house at least two (2) female Veterans at a time with adequate safety precautions (e.g., keypad locks on bedroom doors) in place. Separate and secure sleeping arrangements (unit or wing) for women Veterans. Units must have locking bedrooms and bathrooms for female Veteran. Supervision - Contractor shall provide in-person supervision within the residence during non- Substance Abuse treatment (SUPT) hours Meals - Contractor shall provide morning and evening meals on SUPT treatment days and three (3) meals a day on all other days. Medications - Contractor shall provide secure storage of Veteran medications and shall provide access to those medications at least at intervals that coincide with prescription instructions. Transportation - Contractor shall provide transportation to and from therapeutic activities to the JVAMC) All responses must be received in writing no later than 1:00 PM CST on January 23, 2017. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. All firms responding to this request for information notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award or to be added to prospective bidders list to receive a copy of the solicitation. Interested companies should submit an email to stephanie.keo@va.gov. Responses to this notice shall include the following: 1) Organization name, address, emails address, Web site address, telephone number, DUNS number, and size and type of ownership for the organization e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned small Business, Veteran-owned small business, 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business, Small disadvantaged business, or Small Business HUBZone business and 2) Capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements.
