Description

GENERAL INFORMATION Notice of Intent for Sole Source The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii intends to award a firm fixed-price, non-personal contract for annual maintenance service of TAMC owned i-STAT 1 analyzers, i-STAT Central Data Station (CDS) software version 5 and higher, and i-STAT Automated Manual Entry (AME) interface to include repair and/or maintenance of this equipment in a fully functional condition in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. This requirement is for a period of performance from 1 April 2017 through 30 September 2017 (Base and four (4) one-year option periods). The proposed acquisition is intended as a sole source to Abbott Laboratories Inc., as the server used for data management and result interfacing requires software upgrades, which is proprietary to and distributed exclusively by Abbott Laboratories. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The NAICS code of this procurement is 811219 and the size standard is $20.5 M.
