- SYNOPSIS: GLOBUS MEDICAL TLIF SPINAL IMPLANT SYSTEM This synopsis is issued in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1) and FAR 5.207. This proposed action is for the procurement of Globus RISE TLIF Spinal implant systems. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This proposed procurement will be a sole source award under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 339113: Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. Business size standard for NAICS 339113 is 500 employees. PSC code: 6515 - Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment and Supplies. Delivery Schedule: 17 January 2017 Delivery Destination: Medical Materiel Bldg 830 Area A 4881 Sugar Maple Dr. Wright Patterson AFB, OH 45433 Requirement: 1. TLIF procedure on 17 January 2017 RISE TLIF SPACER, 10x26x8-15mm 10 DEGREE X a quantity of 6 The proposed source is Globus Medical 2560 General Armistead Ave Audubon, PA 19403-5214 This procurement will not be competed because the aforementioned GLOBUS implant and planting system is currently the only implant system that the surgeon is trained to use for this procedure. The Government will award a contract to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Technical Capability and Price will be used to evaluate all offers. The Department of Defense (DoD) has determined the System for Award Management (SAM) to be the single point of DoD registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with the government.
