- Product Item Description This Request for Information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation for Bid (IFB) or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any services. Responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government reserves the right to determine how it should proceed as a result of this notice. Furthermore, those who respond to this RFI should not anticipate feedback with regard to its submission. The Government will not pay any cost incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the responding party's expense. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. The purpose of this RFI is to obtain information on potential sources that can provide annual subscription renewals for Fiscal Year 2017 for publications listed in the attached product item description (PID). The subscription renewal covers any new volumes, pamphlets, or inserts that come out through the fiscal year (October 2016 - September 2017). The Government requires ALL publications (all or none). This is a sole source procurement - only known source is: West Group (CAGE 89101). The vendor shall supply the ENTIRE list of publications listed in the attached PID. DESCRIPTION OF INFORMATION REQUESTED: All interested vendors with an ability to provide ALL of the publications shall provide a capability statement to identify your business size (large or small) in relation to your NAICS code and business status. The capability statement shall include the following: a) Company Information: -- Company Name -- Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code -- DUNS number -- Size of business relative to NAICS code -- Mailing address -- E-Mail Address -- Telephone and fax numbers -- Name, telephone number, and e-mail address of a point of contact having the authority and knowledge to clarify responses with Government representatives and who can verify the demonstrated capability identified in the responses. b) Any questions or clarification requests regarding the requirements c) Brief description of any potential constraint or boundary that you anticipate regarding the requirement. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this RFI is strictly voluntary. Responses will not be returned. As a reminder, no entitlements to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges to the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses or the Government's use of such information. The information obtained from industries' responses to this notice may be used in the development of an acquisition strategy and a future RFP (if applicable). The limit for all responses is not to exceed twenty (20) single-sided, in Microsoft Word or searchable PDF format, with a minimum of 12-point font size and on 8 ½ x 11 inch pages. All interested parties shall submit a response via e-mail to: Elizabeth.Napolitano@dla.mil with the words "DCAA FY17 Publication Subscription Renewals" in the subject line. Responses shall be received not later than 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Monday, January 16, 2017. It is the respondent's responsibility to verify the email was received and can be viewed.
