- Description
- The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Fort Worth District (SWF) intends to solicit a sole source award per FAR 6.302-1. The Fort Worth District intends to solicit and award to TYCO Integrated Security for monitoring and maintenance agreement for the intrusion/fire detection and surveillance system at Grapevine Lake Texas. It is in the best interest to the government to sole source this service as any other course of action would result in a substantial duplication of cost to the government and would create delays in fulfilling the agency’s requirements: • The security equipment currently installed is proprietary equipment with TYCO Integrated Security. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered. Information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a sole source procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All submissions must be sent via email to gloria.gonzalesl@usace.army.mil received by 10 Feb 2017, 10:00 a.m. (CST). This notice is not a Request for Proposals, nor does it restrict the Government as the ultimate acquisition approach. This notice is not a commitment from the Government. The Government will not reimburse any bid or proposal costs as a result of this notice.
