Description

Calypso Prostate & Surface Transponder Beacons Special Notice to award Calypso® Prostate and Surface Transponder Beacons Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Health Contracting Cell, Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source award under solicitation W81K02-17-T-0107 to Varian Medical Systems in the amount of $100,500.00 for Calypso® Prostate and Surface Transponder Beacons for Department of Oncology Services at Madigan Army (MAMC) Medical Center, Tacoma, WA 98433. These products are proprietary to the OEM above and used with the Calypso® System, Government-Owned by MAMC, which is used for patient therapy treatment in the eradication of prostate cancer. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent; Mr. Walter J. Bischoff, email; walter.j.bischoff.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
