- THIS IS A CORRECTED AMENDMENT TO THE FOLLOWING FED BIZ OPPS SPECIAL NOTICE REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Department of Agriculture ( USDA ), Agriculture Research Service ( ARS ), Research Animal Services Section, in Beltsville, Maryland 20705 - intends to award a sole source, fixed price purchase order to the Large Business vendor: Nelson's Agri Service, located at 4331 Ruggles Road, in Taneytown, Maryland 21787-1313 whose Dun and Bradstreet Number is 007851630 and the applicable - NAICS CODE - North American Industrial Classification Code is 111150 with a small business size standard of $750,000. The proposed award is being issued under Authority of FAR 6.302-1 ( b ) ( i ), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. USDA's Requirement is as follows: Brand: Pioneer Seed Variety and Quantity of Each: Corn: 1. 25 Bags - P0506AM AM/LL/RR2/AQ 2. 21 Bags - P1197AMXT AMXT/LL/RR2 Soybeans: 1. 120 Units - 93Y84 R/SCN in Bulk Boxes 2. 80 Units - P36T86R R/SCN in Bulk Boxes 3. 90 Units--P40T84R R/SCN in Bulk Boxes Sorghum: 1. 10 - Bags- 86G32 Pickup Requirements: Key requirement: The above Seed dealer must be located within 60 miles of Beltsville, MD 20705 to allow pick up and return of unused seed by USDA staff. All above items and quantities must be available for pickup by April 1, 2017. THIS NOTICE INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The purchase made will be made under simplified acquisition procedures, other than Full and Open Competition authorized by FAR 6.302-1, and Statutory Authority: 10 USC 2304 (C ) ( 1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Vendors who believe they can provide the complete above requirement and meet the above 60 mile radious from Beltsville, Maryland 20705 requirement shall email John.Wilkinson@ars.usda.gov. Oral Communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The anticipated award dated is January 23, 2017.
