- The US Forest Service, Region 5, Pacific Southwest AQM intends to issue a solicitation to remove and replace an old chiller with a 300 ton high efficiency unit on or about 25 Jan 2017. This date is an estimate and is subject to change without notice. Work consists of, but is not limited to, removal and disposal of an existing/old Chiller and replace with a 300 ton high efficiency unit such as Smardt 300 ton dual compressor chiller WB095 2HG07 F2HHHHA F2AVHAL TNO or equal at 1323 Club Drive, Vallejo CA 94592. All work shall include the following: 1) Provide mechanical design and drawings required for permit; 2) Provide structural drawings and calculations for anchoring as required; 3) Provide all permits as required; 4) Perform lock-out and tag-out; 5) Remove existing outdoor louver and re-place when finished; 6) Provide all necessary tools, equipment, and rigging to remove old chiller and install new chiller; 7) Demo, remove, and dispose of old chiller in accordance with EPA and State of California regulations; 8) Make all connections both new electrical and all new piping and valves, including new or additional piping that maybe necessary and including any and all hardware; 9) Provide all new pipe insulation for all new piping; 10) Return all outside louvers and hardware as per original structure; 11) Re-connect existing controls and re-program Tridium software control system as necessary; 12) Start and test all new equipment; 13) Provide a minimum of 5-year warranty on all work and equipment. This acquisition will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238220 with a size standard of $15M. The contract will be a Firm-Fixed-Price type contract that will have a 120-day period of performance. The solicitation package will be posted on http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation package. Facsimile, telephone, written and/or email requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Prospective offerors are responsible for monitoring the fedbizopps website for release of the solicitation package and downloading their own copy of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. Prospective offerors must have or obtain a DUNS number, be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/index.html/#1, must complete FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representation and Certification Commercial Items at https://www.sam.gov/index.html/#1.
