- SF1449 M0026317T0008 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M0026317T0008 is issued as a request for proposal (RFQ) using the commercial procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. The Source Selection procedures are in accordance with FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-93 and DFARS Publication 20161222. The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Recruit Depot- Parris Island, SC intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price contract for Chiller/Heat Pump repair service. This solicitation is issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside acquisition. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238220 with a size standard of $15 million. A ll applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses are contained in SF1449 M0026317T0008 attached to this synopsis. Offerors responding to this announcement shall submit their quotes in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The basis for award is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. Technical Acceptability is defined as submitting a quote in accordance with the solicitation submission requirements and demonstrating an understanding of the requirements outlined in the PWS provided in Section C of this solicitation. The prospective contractor shall have satisfactory past performance Offers shall be ranked in order of lowest price to highest price. The lowest-price offer shall be evaluated first. If the lowest-priced offer is technically acceptable, no other offers will be evaluated. In accordance with FAR 52.237-1, a site visit is available upon request. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. All other additional contract requirement for this acquisition can be found in the attached SF 1449. The closing date and time for this solicitation is Jan 23, 2017 at 1:00 PM Eastern. Offerors are responsible for ensuring that their submitted quote has been received and is legible. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by the agency. It is the intent of the Government to issue one award; however, the Government reserves the right to issue multiple awards. Any offer, modification, revision, or withdrawal of an offer received at the Government office designated in the solicitation after the exact time specified for receipt of offers is "late" in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f).
